 I am extremely satisfied with the personal training I receive with Tanya Appleby. "Personal" is italicized because she meets the individual needs of her clients.

My husband and I work out together with Tanya.  She watches us individually, and helps us on correct posture and individual needs.  My body works differently than my husbands.

Some of the immediate positive results found:
I found I can work hard physically, and the aches and pains give results that I LOVE!
I feel taller and stronger, which boosts my mental and physical energy for the day
I feel a stronger body
I am in better physical condition and was able to beat my personal record in running a 5K.
My clothes fit great!
I have very few leg cramps at night and I sleep "like a baby"  (I really don't know who came up with that saying....my kids kept me up all night!)  I sleep like a log...that's better.

During the Christmas holiday I ate a ton of "great tasting holiday sweets" and still felt great

At age 49, I feel like I am in better shape then at age 39.

Working out with Steve Appleby has been one of the best investments I have ever made.  I originally joined with Steve because I wanted to get in shape for my wedding.  What I got in return was far more than I bargained for.  At the time, I had a constant shooting pain in my hip that I later discovered was caused by my back.  I have a condition in which my last two vertebrae are compressed and nerve endings are being pinched which causes pain.  Upon learning about this, Steve put me on track to strengthen my core back muscles in particular those that support my spine.  After several months of working out, the pain in my hip disappeared.

When I became pregnant one of my worries was how it was going to affect my back and if the pain will return.  It did not and I attribute it to the work that I do with Steve.  In fact, my pregnancy has been a breeze (compared to the stories I've heard from my friends).  I truly believe that working out with Steve while I was pregnant gave me more flexibility, stamina, strength, and endurance.  I worked out with Steve up until 38 weeks of pregnancy.  During this time he was careful to tailor the workout to strengthen the muscles that would help me throughout the pregnancy and also he was careful not to over-exert me.  His expertise in training me allowed me to do some pretty amazing things while pregnant including traveling to Europe in my 2nd trimester.  I was able to keep up with the non-pregnant folk even though the trip involved lots of physical activity. 

I'm looking forward to working out with Steve once again after delivery to get me back on track to the fitness level I was pre-pregnancy.

I MARRIED MY INSPIRATION  

I met my husband, Steve Appleby 7 years ago and at that time weighed over 200 lbs and wore sizes 18-20. I was so inspired by Steve's mindset on fitness not to mention his physical appearance proof of he practiced what he preached, that I decided to start training and educating myself to make a career out of getting fit.    

I now hold several certifications - Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Coach. I have dropped 8-10 sizes (depending on the maker) and have increased my strength, endurance, stability, and balance, all while strengthening my core. My eating habits have changed drastically and have become more of that of a healthy individual. I understand more of what is good and bad when it comes to eating while allowing everything in moderation. 

I am so much more confident and at age 47 feel more fit than I ever felt in my 20's. I look forward to helping others reach their fitness goals.
